Lakeshore Titan Families:

The Titan Athletic Booster Club (TABC) would like to welcome you to another year of academics and sports at Lakeshore High School.

The TABC is comprised of a group of parents dedicated to supporting the athletic programs under our umbrella at LHS. The success of our group is reliant upon the support of our Principal, April Jarrell, Athletic Director, DeLyn Stelly, all our dedicated coaches and you, our parents. Our annual membership drive is one of our primary fundraisers and we encourage you to review the attached sheet and select your desired membership plan.

The primary focus of our current TABC Board is to assist the athletic programs under our umbrella (all sports except football, cheer and dance which have their own dedicated booster clubs) and to award a college scholarship to one male and one female senior athlete. We are dedicated to increasing these scholarship awards each year and we need your cooperation to do this. We were successful in increasing the awards from $500 when the current board took over to $2,000 for the 2020-2021 year and are hoping to increase it again for the 2020-2021 school year! In order to be eligible for the scholarship the parents of the athletes must be members of the TABC.

Sports involvement is one of the most popular extracurricular activities for high school students. We all owe it to our students to ensure that we maintain healthy athletic programs. These are some of the best years of your child’s school days.

Last year was another outstanding year for LHS athletics. All of our sports teams achieved success at the district and state levels. Several student athletes achieved district and state recognition. We awarded $2,000 scholarships to two amazing senior athletes. After a one year hiatus we hosted the annual Powder Puff game, which is our other primary fundraiser.

We also encourage you to purchase Titan merchandise from the Titan Shack, located outside the cafeteria, which we hope to have open on Fridays during lunch periods. We will also have it set up at some sporting events throughout the year. Volunteers for staffing the Titan Shack, as well as our Powder Puff game in the spring, are always welcomed.

The TABC thanks you for your consideration and support of our Titan Athletes. Please join the TABC by completing the attached membership form and returning it to Student Services.
