In this course, students will explore the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Students will examine the concepts of psychology through reading, discussion, and analyzing data from psychological research studies, which culminates in a research paper. Fees are associated with this course. Possible college credit earned.

PSYCHOLOGY ^

In this course, the study of human behavior enables the student to develop a better understanding of oneself and others. Areas of study include introduction to psychology, altered states of consciousness, the human lifespan, personality theory, psychological testing, stress and health, psychological disturbance, and psychotherapy.
