Semester Grading Policy: The first and second nine weeks grades are averaged together to get the final grade for the first semester and the third and fourth nine weeks grades are averaged together to get the final grade for the second semester. The semester grade for each course is the only grade that will appear on the student’s transcript. Remember, the second semester grade cannot pull up the first semester grade. Each semester stands alone.
There is no “year” average given at the high school level.

Please check your student’s progress on JPAMS and contact the teacher and/or counselor by email if there are any concerns. Call the front office if you need your child’s ID and password.

Transcript Request:
Students may request a copy of their transcript from student services or by mailing in a transcript request form. The fee must be paid in full before the transcript will be released.

COST: $1.00- first copy (per req.), 25¢ - each additional copy, 50¢ - for each mailed copy

The college or university you plan to attend will be the best source for obtaining information regarding scholarships. The deadlines for these scholarships may range from November 1st through February 1st. The deadlines are specific to each university. Students should also listen to daily announcements and check the scholarship book located outside of student services for a listing of local scholarships.

ACT and SAT Information: The ACT and SAT college admissions tests are given several times a year at various locations. A student can register online at www.act.org for the ACT and www.collegeboard.org for the SAT.
When registering for the ACT or SAT, be sure to use the appropriate codes in order to send your official test scores.
